“We all have a thirst for wonder. It’s a deeply human quality. Science and religion are both bound up with it. What I’m saying is, you don’t have to make stories up, you don’t have to exaggerate. Although most authors use their imagination and research to speak about scientific and psychological aspects of humanity, but few have an impressive background, which supports their ideals. Enter Carl Sagan, an American astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist, and astrobiologist. Contact’s premise is simple, yet brilliant: What will happen when humanity realizes they’re not alone?
